Welcome to Barnet, Tyrone Duffus

10 September 2020

The Bees are delighted to announce the signing of versatile midfield player Tyrone Duffus.

Duffus is primarily a midfield player but also has the ability to play in defensive positions too.

The 23-year-old rose through the ranks of Premier League side Everton as a youngster, before making a switch to continue his development with Cardiff City.

During his time with the Bluebirds, Duffus joined up with current Bees boss Peter Beadle as he joined Hereford on loan. Our newest addition has most recently played further down the leagues for Warrington Town.

Tyrone's versatility will be absolutely crucial when games come thick and fast throughout the 2020/21 campaign. He's energetic and a determined box to box player, who likes to break up the play.

Duffus was pleased to be reunited with Peter Beadle when speaking to us. He said:

"He's a great gaffer to be fair, I really enjoyed my last time working with him when I was at Hereford. He plays good football, he likes to play it on the floor and get it out wide. He likes entertaining football, which is how I like to play."

Everyone would like to welcome Tyrone to the Club and look forward to seeing him develop further in the 2020/21 season.
