Barnet FC are delighted to welcome Dorking Wanderers left back Sam Beard to the Club on a loan deal for the rest of the season.
With The National League South season curtailed, Simon Bassey and Dave Anderson have identified Sam as a player they would like to bring in and bolster the squad for the remainder of the campaign.
Beard has played 15 times for the Wanderers in their interrupted season and will be eager to impress the Bees fans and staff alike as the Club look to rebuild for the upcoming campaign.
The left-sided full-back has played an instrumental part in the Wanderers' success, as he made 35 appearances last season, as they went onto make The National League South play-off semi-final. This time out Dorking were right in the hunt to be title winners before the early curtailment of the league season.
Beard will look to bring some of that winning mentality to The Hive London and impress Simon Bassey in the remaining fixtures of the 2020/21 National League season, with the Bees looking to rebuild on and off the pitch for the 21/22 season.
We are pleased to welcome Sam to the Club and wish him the very best during his time with the Bees. He will wear the number 23 shirt and could make his debut on Saturday as make the trip to Maidenhead United.
The deal is subject to all the usual regulatory processes with The FA.
