After operating for four months, The NHS Vaccination Centre situated inside the Legends Bar at The Hive London has now closed.
Barnet Football Club were delighted to be very first English Football Club to open their doors to the NHS back in December 2020.
For the last few months, it's been a monumental effort from all of the doctors, nurses, support staff and army of volunteers, as they have helped save countless lives by administering the vaccine to local residents.
The heroic work saw in excess of 55,000 vaccines administered to our community, ensuring that those who were most vulnerable to the virus were given their injections at the earliest possible convenience.
Barnet FC are immensely proud to have been able to play a small part in facilitating the amazing work of the NHS and we are so pleased to have been able to see the positive impact it has had on people within our local community.
Chairman, Tony Kleanthous, said:
"It has been our privilege to host The NHS at The Hive London over the past few months and it has been amazing to see the work being carried out by their Doctors, Nurses and all the volunteers involved. We are always proud to assist our local community and help to hopefully save countless lives from the brilliant work that The NHS have carried out.
I would like personally to congratulate everyone for their efforts, which I believe will leave a lasting legacy within our local community."
