FIXTURE DETAILS:

Kings Lynn Town vs Barnet FC

Tuesday 23rd February, 19:45 KO

The Walks Stadium

Vanarama National League

THE LINNETS

League Position: 22nd - 18 points (P19, W5, D3, L11)

Last result: Kings Lynn Town 0-1 Notts County - Tuesday 16th February

Manager: Ian Culverhouse

Top Scorer: Adam Marriott - five goals

Our next opponents had the weekend off as their planned trip to Dover Athletic was called off. In their last match, they ran promotion hopefuls Notts County all the way, before falling to a narrow 1-0 defeat. Our hosts enjoyed a solid start to life in The National League, but have struggled to find any level of consistency to move away from the bottom end of the table. The Linnets come into this one without a win since November 21st, where they secured all three points with a 2-1 win over Dover Athletic. They picked up six points in that week, beating the Bees the Tuesday previous with a 2-0 win at The Hive London, as Jamal Loza scored both goals.

THE BEES

Tim Flowers will be demanding a response from Saturday's defeat to Woking at The Hive London. The Bees never got going in a disappointing showing, which the Cards took full advantage of with a goal either side of half time to secure a 2-0 victory. They travel to The Walks Stadium knowing that a victory will take them to within three points of the Linnets, but they'll have to be at their best and match the efforts they showed last week as they triumphed over FC Halifax Town. Tuesday night games have been positive for the Bees, with 11 of our 12 points coming in midweek matches. If Flowers men can return with the points it'll be our first away win since the second game of the season, when we came from behind to take all three points off Dagenham and Redbridge. After taking the lead last time they were on their travels, the Bees will look to try and go that extra step and secure some valuable confidence boosting points.

The Bees will head into the game with a couple of injury doubts after both Binnom-Williams and Richards-Everton picked up injuries during Saturday's defeat to Woking. Meanwhile, Harry Taylor will be available for selection again after serving a one-match ban after he picked up five yellow cards in our win against FC Halifax Town.
