Saturday’s Vanarama National League fixture away to Aldershot Town has been postponed following COVID incidents at both Clubs.
Barnet and Aldershot Town have both engaged in early notification of Covid incidents to The National League, based on which the League has instructed that this weekend's match must be postponed.
Barnet currently have one First Team player who has returned a positive test, with another two self-isolating and awaiting results following positive COVID tests amongst their close contacts.
Meanwhile, Aldershot have also had positive tests returned and they too are now awaiting further results.
With this information presented to The National League, the match has been postponed to ensure the safety of personnel from both sides. Both Clubs must now self-isolate until all results have been returned and considered to allow the League to determine necessary next steps.
We have communicated our current situation to Yeovil Town and will have an update regarding our scheduled fixture (12th Jan) in due course. A rearranged date for our trip to the EBB Stadium will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Club would advise anyone who has purchased a stream from Saturday to contact Aldershot Town directly to discuss your options.
The Club would like to wish those affected at both Clubs a speedy recovery, and we will communicate more information as and when available.
