Barnet Football Club can confirm that Tuesday night’s Vanarama National League fixture at home to Yeovil Town has been postponed following a second positive COVID case amongst our First Team squad.
Ahead of the weekend, we had one positive case, with two further players self isolating and awaiting results. One of these tests has returned positive, with the other squad member continuing to self isolate under government guidelines.
Following the second positive case amongst the First Team, we presented this information to The National League who have made the decision to postpone Tuesday’s match with The Glovers.
The entire First Team now must self isolate for the mandated period instructed by both The National League and government guidelines.
Anyone who purchased a streaming pass for Tuesday night’s match will have their code carried over for the rearranged fixture.
Our next scheduled fixture is away to Boreham Wood on Tuesday January 19th.
The Club would like to thank the league and Yeovil Town Football Club for its understanding of our current situation and we look forward to hosting them at a later date.
Finally, we wish all of our affected First Team members a full and speedy recovery. We will keep supporters updated with any further information.
