Bees defender Alex McQueen has been called by Grenada to take part in their upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches.
The Bees number seven's team will firstly take on Antigua and Barbuda on June 4th before they host Montserrat on June 9th. Both matches are World Cup Qualifiers in the North and Central region, as the race for qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup hots up.
McQueen trained with his Barnet teammates yesterday morning (Thursday), before flying out later that afternoon in order for the defender to fulfil the relevant COVID regulations. Therefore, he will be unavailable for selection for Saturday's final match of the season.
Everyone at the Club would like to congratulate Alex and wish him all the best for the upcoming World Cup Qualifying matches.
