Spanish midfielder Ruben Bover has applied his trade in various places such as Kidderminster, New York Cosmos and New York Red Bulls (where he got his first professional goal) before returning to England to sign with Barnet in January 2017.
After making 14 appearances last season, he opened his scoring tally with a free kick against AFC Wimbledon in the Checkatrade Trophy at the end of August.
With competition for places high, Bover will be hoping he can capitalise on the opportunities he’s given and get a regular place in a competitive Barnet side. If he can utilise the experience he gained in the USA with The Cosmos, there’s no reason why he can’t take League Two by storm this season.
