Signed in January 2017 for Cardiff City, David Tutonda was a product of the Welsh team's youth academy and featured heavily as a left back at the end of the 2016/17 season; however, he can also play centrally and as a left midfielder.
Born in Kinshasa, Zaire (now DR Congo) Tutonda got his first taste of League Two football on loan at Newport County in February 2015. He then went on to further his development on loan at York City in August of the same year, before returning to Wales in December. Despite 26 appearances across these two loan spells, it wasn’t until Barnet signed the 21-year-old that Tutonda got another taste of League action.
With limited opportunities last season, Tutonda will be looking to give his all this season to give Rossi Eames no option but to start him in his first full season at the club.
