One-club man Elliot Johnson will embark on his eighth professional season at Barnet this campaign.
The left-back, who came through the academy, will be hoping to claim his 200th appearance in all competitions for the Bees next season.
Making his debut in a 1-0 win over Torquay United in November 2012, Johnson went on to play 26 games in his debut season and, despite being involved in 11 clean sheets, couldn’t help Barnet survive relegation from the Football League. However, Johnson stuck around and another 72 league games later, helped The Bees get promoted back into the league.
With three goals and 16 assists to his name thus far, including his first strike for the club against Accrington Stanley in March 2013, he even contributes going forward at times as well. However, in the 1-0 win versus Luton earlier last season, he suffered a long-term knee injury, ruling him out for rest of the season.
However, Johnson returned to action in a pre-season defeat to West Brom in the summer and will be hoping to put his injury woes of last season behind him as he aims to secure another promotion back to the EFL.
