Date of birth
23-year-old striker Shaq Coulthirst joined Barnet from Peterborough in July 2017 after spending a year with Posh.
He began his career in the Tottenham youth set-up before making the step-up to senior level. Despite being a professional at Tottenham for three years, the majority of this time was taken up by loan moves to various Football League clubs, including Southend United. He did make one appearance for Spurs, subbed on in a Europa League game before being sold to Peterborough United in January 2016. He played 43 games and contributed 11 goals and assists before he was loaned out to Mansfield Town for the remainder of the 2016-17 season.
He left the ABAX Stadium after his loan spell and made the move back to North London, signing for the Bees. Peterborough’s loss was our gain as Coulthirst’s first few games for The Bees showed, including his debut goal for the club against his former side in the Carabao Cup and a hat-trick away at Swindon for his first three league goals.
Coulthirst already has 44 appearances and 12 goals under his belt at Barnet and if his debut season is anything to go by, he will only go from strength to strength here.
