Nearly six years at The Bees have seen Curtis Weston experience the highs and the lows of football, but the one thing that’s remained is his consistent performances in both the Conference and League Two. The 30-year-old established himself as a quality player at Gillingham, where he made 164 appearances before signing for Barnet in the summer of 2012.

The versatile midfielder has played over 200 games for the club playing a part in 42 goals in the process. Although Weston has an FA Cup runners-up medal in his trophy cabinet, arguably his most prolific season and greatest achievement at Barnet was the promotion season from the Conference in 2013/14, which saw him bag nine goals and four assists in 46 games.

Hopefully, this season will start to pick up soon, after a knee injury has ruled him out for the first few weeks of the season. Weston will come back as hungry as ever and his experience and knowledge of the club will be invaluable come to his return to the team.
