Jack Taylor was a member of Chelsea’s youth academy from 2005 until 2012, where he and his brother Harry joined Barnet.
The younger of the two Taylor’s, he graduated from the youth system in the summer of 2016, soon going on loan to Hampton and Richmond Borough until December.
After making his Barnet debut against Norwich City in the EFL Trophy in October 2016, Taylor has gone on to make over 100 league appearances for the Bees. One of the main reasons Jack stands out from many youth prospects is his versatility to play in many positions, he can play across the whole midfield and has been known to drop deeper to right-back if needed, despite naturally being a central midfielder.
Despite being 21-years-old, Taylor already has the experience to continue to push on next season and to really prove to Darren Currie how vital he is to the Barnet set-up.
On 17th August 2019, Jack brought up a century of appearances in a Barnet shirt during a 2-2 draw with Chesterfield, scoring a fantastic goal to mark the occasion.
