Date of birth
188 appearances across nearly eight years at the club, Elliott Johnson has been at Barnet his entire career. The left-back has certainly made an impression, consistently being a name on the team sheet ever since the 2012/13 League Two season; he’s a player that the fans are very familiar with.
Making his debut in a 1-0 win over Torquay United in November 2012, Johnson went on to play 26 games in his debut season and, despite being involved in 11 clean sheets, couldn’t help Barnet survive relegation from the Football League. However, Johnson stuck around and another 72 league games later, helped The Bees get promoted back into the league.
With three goals and 16 assists to his name thus far, including his first strike for the club against Accrington Stanley in March 2013, he even contributes going forward at times as well. However, in the 1-0 win versus Luton earlier this season, he suffered a long-term knee injury while could rule him out for most of the season. Once he is back fit, he will be right back at it again, playing football for his boyhood club.
