Promising defender Tom Day came through the Barnet youth system after departing Crystal Palace in 2015. The centre-back, who is only 19 years old, has made steady progress since joining The Bees, singing his first professional contract with the club in April 2016.
Making his debut off the bench against Crawley Town in July 2016 as a substitute, he was soon loaned out to Staines Town in a successful spell at the club. After 26 appearances for The Swans, he returned to Barnet, hoping his non-league venture can help him gain a spot in the Barnet back line.
With plenty of knowledge and experience already at the club, Day will be looking to harness this to aid his development and flourish into the dominant defensive player we know he can become.
