Date of birth
A product of the Barnet youth academy, Kai McKenzie-Lyle is one of our brightest up and coming talents. Born in 1997, the 19-year-old has already made his senior debut, a substitute against Portsmouth in December 2015.
Despite his youth, he already has two caps for the Guyanan national team making appearances against Suriname and Jamaica. He can also boast the accolade that he scored on his International debut, the only goalkeeper in modern history to do so.
With his future ahead of him, Kai McKenzie-Lyle has already proved he can do it on the big stage, however this season he’ll be hoping to challenge Jamie Stephens for the number one shirt as he looks to gain a consistent place in the first team squad.
