A superb act of kindness from a Bees supporter

Terry Emery would have been in jubilant mood after the Bees 3-0 victory over Barrow, but his day soon turned to frustration after losing his wallet on the way home from The Hive London.

Terry had cash, bank cards and his driving licence in his wallet and was almost certain that he wouldn’t see it again. However, a fellow Bee would soon come to his rescue in an incredible act of kindness.

Steven Mann, who had found the wallet on the tube, was also on his way home from The Hive London following the match. In an amazing act of generosity, Steven then travelled through Storm Ciara to personally deliver Terry’s wallet back to his home address in Welwyn Garden City.

Steven had absolutely no clue that Terry was a fellow Bee, further highlighting what a heartfelt act this was. Terry and his partner Louise were left gobsmacked by Steven’s kindness.

Terry has now promised to make sure he repays the gesture, by buying his fellow Bee a pint in the Legends Bar at a future home match.

There was further celebration in order as Terry proposed to his now soon to be wife Louise. Everyone at Barnet Football Club would like to congratulate them on this fantastic news!

Everyone associated with the Bees would like to pass on immense recognition to Steven Mann for his selfless act! Well done Steven!
