Barnet 1-3 Aldershot Town

Barnet began life without Edgar Davids the same way they ended it as Aldershot Town secured a 1-3 win at The Hive.
The away side took an early lead when Jordan Roberts’ cross evaded everyone and looped into the far corner after just two minutes.
The Bees equalised on the stroke of half-time as Mauro Vilhete crashed in a 20-yard stunner but goals from Bradley Bubb and Mark Moseley earlier in the second-half sealed an unhappy return for interim manager Paul Fairclough.
Barnet made three changes to the side beaten 2-1 by Chester on Saturday with Jordan Brown, Luke Gambin and Vilhete starting in favour of Elliot Johnson, Kieron Caodgan and Luisma Villa.
Despite the fresh legs the Bees found themselves behind with just two minutes played as Roberts’ clipped cross went over Jupp and into the net.
With eleven minutes played the Shots almost made it 2-0 but Jack Saville was alert to clear Brett Williams’ header off the line.
Chances continued to fall for the away side but they continued to waste them as Williams volleyed wide and Mark Byrne’s clearance cannoned inches wide off Bubb.
The Bees showed signs of improvement as the half wore on with Vilhete just unable to connect with a Gambin cross before Byrne shot straight at Glen Morris.
Aldershot were seemingly cruising to a half-time lead but with 45 minutes played Vilhete crashed the shot into the net from 20-yards.
The Bees sent Harry Crawford on for Luke Gambin after the break but it was Aldershot who took the lead when Bubb burst down the wing and slotted the ball past Jupp with 49 minutes played.
Seven minutes later the Shots were in dreamland as Moseley rifled the ball past Jupp from just outside the box to make it 1-3.
The Bees made changes early with Anthony Acheampong replacing Saville on 60 minutes and Jon Nurse returning from a three match ban in place of Brown but Aldershot continued to impress.
Jake Hyde almost made it 3-2 in the 87th minute but his powerful volley was expertly saved by Morris before Vilhete had a shot blocked from range.
Four minutes were added on at the end but Aldershot held firm to secure three points as the Bees turn their attention to Saturday’s match against Southport.
