There was an attempt to get BarnetPlayer up and running last week. The service, we knew, would be a little under-powered, but we thought it was worth giving it a go, and after a lot of behind the scenes activity there was match commentary, after a fashion, from the Hyde match.

Perhaps in hindsight we should have made this more widely known.

However the club now has all the necessary equipment and with lines set up at The Hive, with fingers crossed, all should be well for the season.

The BarnetPlayer equipment will make its way to The Shay on Saturday with Halifax confirming that there should not be an issue from their end.
