Barnet Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of James Harper.

The experienced midfielder joins the club until the end of the season and he is eligible to face Hereford United tomorrow afternoon at The Hive.Â

Harper has tremendous experience within the top echelons of the game featuring for Reading in the Barclays Premier League during the 2006/07 season.
Â
The 33-year-old spent nine years at the Madejski Stadium before departing for Bramall Lane in September 2009.
Â
Harper’s time with Sheffield United ended in 2010 when he joined Hull City on a two year deal and he would go on to make 29 league appearances for the Tigers.Â

On August 17th 2010 Harper joined Doncaster Rovers helping them win Sky Bet League one before leaving the club by mutual consent in search of regular football.

Speaking to BarnetFC.com Paul Fairclough hailed the arrival of Harper.
