BEES BOLSTER BACKROOM BUNCH

It’s been a busy time for Mark Robson and James Thorne since the former was appointed as The Bees’ Head Coach last month. Planning pre-season, overseeing signings and taking part in coaching sessions have all fallen under the remits of the gaffer and the BFC Head of Youth Development. However, as of this week, Barnet FC has officially added two new members to our Backroom set-up. After their successful trial periods, which included the pre-season friendly matches against Burnham Ramblers, QPR and St Albans City, we would like to officially welcome Kenny Brown and Stuart Ayles to the Barnet FC Backroom Team.
Kenny Brown comes into the club as our Lead Development Coach and will have a hand in overseeing the coaching of all of The Bees’ teams, from First Team downwards. Kenny has a kitbag full of experience behind him, having played as a defender for clubs including Norwich City, West Ham, Millwall, Reading and Birmingham City (our Capital One Cup opponents for the first game of the 12/13 season!). He has also spent time as a Manager, taking charge of Barry Town, CD Javea in Spain and, more recently, Tooting and Mitcham United.
Stuart Ayles is a former physio at Charlton Athletic and Head of Sports Science at Wycombe Wanderers, a position he will now fill at Barnet FC. Stuart will be responsible for the medical upkeep of all footballers who are contracted to the club through all the age groups.
We would like to welcome both Kenny and Stuart to the ‘Barnet FC Family’ and let’s hope they can assist Mark Robson and James Thorne in helping the club progress to success!
