Breaking | Andre Blackman signs for Barnet FC

Andre started his youth career at Arsenal, before a moving to Spurs and Portsmouth. He signed professional terms with Bristol City in 2009, making his debut in the League Cup.

Andre has also turned out for AFC Wimbledon, Celtic, Plymouth and Blackpool.

After a short spell at MAS Fez in Morocco, he signed for Crawley Town in July last summer. He made 35 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring on two occasions.

Talking to barnetfc.com, Andre has expressed his excitement at signing for the Bees.

“Even in the short time I have been around the club, I’ve really enjoyed myself. I was watching the Under 18’s match this morning and I can see the philosophy and where the club is going.

“When I spoke to Rossi, he expressed how he wants hard work from me every single day, as a bare minimum. I’m coming here to get my head down and help the side get positive results and get up the league.”

Andre will be unavailable for today’s match against Stevenage.
