COMMEMORATIVE PROGRAMME

Following on from the well received Match Programme for the last game at Underhill this Saturday’s match at The Hive, Barnet FC’s first competitive fixture at its new home, will also be celebrated with a bumper issue.
Designed to sit alongside the Underhill version on bookshelves the inaugural programme will again be perfect bound. There has been an attempt to make the programme the perfect accompaniment to the match as well as being a souvenir of a special moment in the history of the club.
There are 84 pages with the theme very much being one of looking forward. But it is impossible to dismiss the drama of the game against Wycombe Wanderers last season and there are numerous photographs that reflect the emotion of that unforgettable day.
There is an extensive feature with Barnet’s new signing, the centre-back Anthony Acheampong and a fascinating interview with Giuliano Grazioli who reveals that he intends to see much more of the Bees this season.
Supporters who contacted Programme Editor David Bloomfield on barnetprogramme@btinternet.com will see their goodwill messages to the club on the dawn of a new era well represented.
There are two separate features that document the seasons in which the Bees were crowned Conference Champions.
Again there are the usual features; such as an in depth look at Barnet’s opponents, the essential Reckless guides to away matches and more facts, figures and stats than you can shake a stick at, not forgetting that there is a message of welcome from the Chairman and the thoughts of Edgar Davids…and much more.
New ground, new contributors, new photographs, new season! Here we go…
