Craig Holloway joins coaching staff as Goalkeeper Coach

Barnet FC is delighted to announce that Craig Holloway has joined the coaching staff ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Craig was a former Arsenal professional who learned his trade from David Seaman and Bob Wilson.

He was one of the best young goalkeepers in the country: England’s No.1 at schoolboy level, consistently playing several years above his age group with Arsenal and a member of Arsene Wenger’s Champions League squad.

Craig made several first team appearances in the Premier League, Champions League and Carling Cup, has international caps and has twice won the FA Youth Cup.

His coaching career began soon after he left Highbury and was privileged to learn from some of the finest coaches in England; Bob Wilson and Don Howe, was assistant to several England head coaches and of course, Arsene Wenger.

More recently, Craig was goalkeeper coach at Welling United FC in the National League South last season.

Barnet FC Manager Dean Brennan said,

“Craig has an excellent playing and coaching background. A ‘been there and done it’ character with loads of experience and enthusiasm. I’m delighted to have him join our coaching staff and know he will thrive in our set up here at the Club”.

We look forward to seeing Craig on the training pitch and in the dugout for this coming campaign.
