David Tutonda: Rossi & Henry showed a strong interest in me

New signing David Tutonda says being made to feel wanted by Rossi Eames and Henry Newman was a big factor in joining Barnet from Cardiff City.
The 21-year-old, who can play at left back or on the left-hand side of midfield, has joined the Bees on a two-year deal, becoming the club’s second signing ahead of the January transfer window.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Tutonda said: “Today has been pretty hectic but it’s pleasing to get everything out of the way and I just want to get started playing now.
“They have shown an interest from the start and I trained for a couple of weeks prior. They have shown a strong interest in me and told me what I would bring to the team if I signed.”
And Tutonda says training with the Bees ahead of agreeing to move to The Hive has been beneficial as he gets used to his new teammates.
“That’s a massive part of it; getting to know the club and getting to know the players, team and philosophy,” he explained. “That was all a big help and hopefully I can make a big impact.
“The training ground is amazing and better than a lot of clubs in this league or even the league above. It’s close to home so that was pleasing as well.”
