DAVIDS PLEASED WITH POINT

The Bees have now secured four points from a possible six without conceding but Davids stated that improvements still need to be made.
Speaking post-match the head-coach explained that he was pleased with a point but highlighted that the start of the season will not decide the end.
“I am absolutely pleased with a point because it is another clean sheet and four points from two matches.
“There are still big opportunities and like I mentioned on the weekend the first ten games will not decide it.”
Davids continued by expressing his view that the Bees were by far the better side in a game which he expected to be difficult.
“It was obvious that we were the better team but still you have to score goals. I think the positive thing was that we kept a clean sheet and we will work on that.
"I think we had some better spells today but there were some things that can definitely improve. It’s good that we can improve and we played against a team that also knows how to win like us last Saturday. It’s only normal that you suffer some difficulties."
Barnet have yet to concede during the 2013/14 season and although we’re only two games in they look increasingly strong at the back. Davids believes this is down to a collective effort from the team.
“The midfielders and strikers put a lot of pressure on the opposition today which helped the defence.
“It is a team effort [keeping clean sheets] and it is not just the players at the back who create them.”
He added: “Every week there is a learning curve and it is up to us to make it count.”
