The young Bees were dominant throughout and they took an early lead through Jake Knight.

The home side rarely troubled Tom Donati’s side and on the one occasion they did threaten Dillon Barnes was alert to make the save.

Despite pushing forward for the majority of the match they had to wait until the final 15 minutes to secure the win.

During the final stages Knight got his second and Shane Cojocarel also netted double. 

The Under-18s’ superb performance is further underlined by the fact that three 15-year-olds, Brian Testolin, Nana Keyi and Jack Taylor, all featured.

Next up for the young Bees is a home tie against Barton FC at The Hive in the final qualifying round.
