Barnet FC is delighted to announce the return of Finley Potter from Sheffield United.
Â
The 19-year-old centre-back rejoins The Bees on loan for the season after a successful loan in our last campaign. Potter made 16 appearances for Barnet in all competitions, scoring two goals and helping Barnet reach the National League play-offs and the FA Trophy semi-final.
Â
Prior to his loan at Barnet, he helped guide Sheffield United’s Development Squad to the Premier League U18 Professional Development League title. Potter played in a defence that only conceded 21 goals in 23 league games (10 fewer than anyone else in the division).
Â
Barnet FC manager Dean Brennan said:Â “We are delighted to have Finley back at the Club.
Â
“Last season was his first in the professional game, and he was excellent for us. We look forward to continuing his development and having him play a crucial part in our team for the upcoming season.”
Â
Finley Potter added, “I’m really looking forward to it.
Â
“I said after I left the Club I was gutted not to get that promotion, and I think it’s only right we can do it this season.”
Â
Welcome back to Barnet Finley Potter!
Â
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
