Defender Jerome Okimo joined Barnet in June 2022, following his departure from Wealdstone. This deal saw the 34-year-old become a player/coach for The Bees, using his title-winning experience to help lead the Club in the right direction. Okimo offers a vast amount of experience to the team, following an 18-year career in the senior game, racking up over 380 appearances for clubs such as Stevenage, Chalfont St Peter, and Braintree Town. Barnet’s No. 6 also featured in the 2019/20 National League South Team of the year because of his consistently excellent performances for title winning Wealdstone, featuring in 32 of the 33 league games. The Englishman has previously worked with current Barnet manager, Dean Brennan during their time at Wealdstone which saw the pair gain promotion from the National League South.
