Gary Waddock accepted the manager’s job at Aldershot last night – it’s a disappointment to lose him because he is an excellent coach and he’s been very popular amongst all of the players.
He’s been a real help and support to me, so I’m grateful to Gary. I think he’ll be very well suited to managing back at Aldershot – a club that he’s done so well at, and one that is near to his house.
He’s grateful to everyone for all the backing and support, and some great times that we’ve had this season.
So from me personally it’s a big thank you to Gary, and I wish him the very best of luck next season at Aldershot.
