IN MEMORIUM – MAHENDRA PATEL

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our colleague and friend, Mahendra Patel.

Mahendra has been with the Club for the last eight years and his passing will leave a huge hole in the hearts of all those here who knew him.

As Group Company Secretary, Mahendra was a fastidious worker, whose financial knowledge was second to none.

In an esteemed career, Mahendra more recently spent eight and a half years as the General Manager for Sony Global Treasury Services and a further five and a half years as Director of Internal Audit Europe for Sony Europe.

A brilliant man with a wonderful sense of humour, Mahendra always had time for anyone. He was not just a co-worker but a valued friend to many of us.

Chairman, Anthony Kleanthous said,

“In the eight or so years I have worked with Mahendra, he became more than a colleague but a dear friend. His experience and expertise were invaluable to the Group and he will be sorely missed both personally and professionally. This unexpected news has left us all stunned. We would like to offer our support and sincere condolences to his dear family in this time of great sorrow.”

Mahendra passed away peacefully at home with his family this weekend and his loss has left a profound emptiness in our hearts.

The thoughts and prayers of everyone at The Hive London are with Mahendra’s family during this very challenging time.
