JCR – “We want to excite the crowd.”

Jamal Campbell-Ryce says this weekend is an opportunity to express themselves in front of The Hive faithful in the final home game of the campaign.
"Rossi’s been saying to go out and enjoy ourselves and have a good time. But at the same time we’re playing to win, we won’t be there to have a stroll in the park."
Following last Saturday’s Hartlepool victory, JCR is keen for a repeat against Grimsby and feels the 2-0 win has been weeks in the making.
"I thought we were very very good at Hartlepool. We stroked the ball around well and got the result we’ve been longing for for weeks.
I think anybody who’s seen our games knows that it’s been a long time coming. There’s been some frustrating weeks, and we haven’t been good enough.
I thought that on Saturday we were much better. We had a ruthless edge about us and kept a clean sheet. We’ll be looking for the same again on Saturday."
JCR is keen to give the crowd something to shout about, with more of the attacking football that they saw against Hartlepool.
"We want to excite the crowd a bit – give them a good send off and show them what we’re trying to do for next season.
Over the last few weeks we’ve shown that we can compete against the best of them.
We’ve got to be taking that mentality into this game and then into next season. Show the fans what we’re capable of."
On his future as a Barnet player, JCR is keen to remain a Bee into next season and hopes to have some answers on his future soon.
"I’m just keeping my head down and playing my football. I feel like I’ve been playing really well.
I’m really settled and really happy.
I think it’s a fantastic football club. What the Chairman has built is great. The nucleaus here is fantastic."
