Kevin Lisbie leaves The Hive

Barnet FC can announce that Kevin Lisbie has left the club.

The former Charlton Athletic striker’s contract has been cancelled by mutual consent, as the 37-year-old goes in search of first team football.

Kevin has endured a difficult time with injuries since arriving at The Hive in the summer.

He is now fully fit, but has found opportunities in the first team limited in recent weeks.

Reflecting on the decision, Kevin said:

"We’ve decided to part company – it’s been a frustrating time for me here.

"But I have enjoyed my time at Barnet.

"The Manager’s been really good to me, and the Chairman’s been good to me as well.

"I feel like at my age I need to be playing first team football.

"So I’m hoping to go elsewhere and do exactly that!"

Everyone at Barnet Football Club would like to thank Kevin for his contribution so far this season, and wish him all the best for the future.
