Loan Watch | Renell McKenzie-Lyle makes Hayes debut in 9-1 away win

Renell, who replaces older brother Kai who returned from loan at the SkyEx Community Stadium last week, played a full 90 minutes as Hayes ran out 9-1 winners away to bottom club Arlesley Town.

Hayes took the lead through Oladameyi Olajubu 9 minutes in, but Arlesley did level after 21 minutes through a Tony Williams goal. Hayes hit straight back, Ryan Kinnane restoring the advantage in the 22nd minute. Ismael Ehui made it three before Immanuelson Duku scored twice before the break.

Duku got his hat-trick from the spot 1 minute after the restart and, not wanting to feel left out, Ehui also scored two more to secure his hat-trick. Toby Little made it 9 in stoppage time.

Tom Day’s Hemel Hempstead Town were 2-1 winners away to Braintree in National League South. Day remained sidelined through injury as the Tudors came from behind to win at Cressing Road, Ebby Nelson-Addy striking in the 90th minute. The result means Hemel climb to fifth, just one point behind Braintree in fourth.
