Loan Watch | Sweeney and Day both pick up three points

Sweeney played 90 minutes as his Hampton & Richmond Borough side won 3-1 away at Whitehawk.

A brace from Bradley Hudson-Odoi and a goal Christian Jolley saw the Beavers 3-0 up within the first 33 minutes.

A second-half consolation goal for the Hawks from Marvin Elliott wasn’t enough and Sweeney’s team held on to all three points to put them up to 15th in the Vanarama National League South table.

Day also played a part in his team win, playing around 80 minutes in Hemel Hempstead Town’s 2-0 home win over Oxford City.

Day had the chance to score in the 25th minute when a driven cross found his head unmarked but didn’t manage to get his header on target.

However, he helped The Tudors keep a clean sheet and make it back to back wins. Up to 6th, also in the Vanarama National League South, they’ll be looking to further cement their play-off place in the coming weeks.
