MARSH-BROWN HAPPY TO BEE A BEE

Keanu Marsh-Brown is feeling at home with Barnet despite signing for the club less than a week ago.
The 20-year-old stunned AFC Wimbledon on Monday with an 86th minute winner on his Barnet debut to push the Bees up to 18th place in Npower League Two.
Marsh-Brown has been training with the club for a couple of weeks since leaving Yeovil in January and he admitted he is just happy to be back playing football.
“I have been training with the first team and the under-21s for the last couple of weeks and the lads in the dressing room have welcomed me into the squad.

“As long as you are playing and that you are happy then you get the best of your ability. That will be shown on the pitch.
Marsh-Brown continued by thanking the Bees supporters and coaching staff for making him feel at home.

“It was a good debut and it was nice to get on. The fans were good to me and before I went on Kenny (Brown) and Uli (Landvreugd) just told me to get on the pitch and be direct.

“It could be a massive three points considering our place in the table so hopefully we can push on.”

The winger also revealed that he would be happy to stay at Barnet next season if the opportunity to do so came about.
“I played quite a few games for Yeovil but then I was out the manager’s plans. I missed quite a lot of football so to be back involved at a club is nice.
“I just want to play as many games and goal as many goals as possible. Then we will see what happens next season.”

“I would happy to stay and Barnet.”

Since Edgar Davids took charge the Bees have lost just once at home and Marsh-Brown believes they can push for promotion next season.

“It is an honour to play with him (Davids) on the pitch and learn from him in training. He has a lot of experience of playing aboard and in the national team so can give you the best advice.”

“They are a good side. They try and move the ball quickly if they can progress then they could be in the promotion mix next season.”
