Good morning,

The players have all had a couple of days off to rest and get themselves ready for our Boxing Day game against Aldershot. We have a couple of knocks but hopefully we can shrug these off in time for the game. 

Aldershot have done remarkably well after being so close to going bust. It is a great club whose supporters have remained loyal throughout all of those years. Recently of course, they smashed Portsmouth out of the FA Cup after drawing away so without a shadow of a doubt we all know that it is going to be a tough game once again.

We face a lot of games in a short space of time which will most definitely help us as we have such a strong squad of players, and for all of our supporters I am well aware of how expensive it is to come and watch football at this time of year. For those that do manage to make it I look forward to seeing you there and for those that don’t I am sure that each and every Barnet supporter will be with us in spirit.

I sincerely hope that you all have a lovely Christmas with your family and loved ones.
