OPPOSITION DUGOUT

Phil Parkinson

The 41-year-old started his managerial career at Nantwich, leading them to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League play-off semi-final but was beaten by Spennymoor Town.

Narrowly missing out on promotion in 2019, the Englishmen earned promotion from the National League North in 2020 through the play-off route.

This season, he has guided his Manchester-based side to one place below the Bees in the table so far.

ONE TO WATCH

Dan Mooney

The 22-year-old winger started his career at Fleetwood Town where he’d make two appearances for the senior team before loan spells at Chorley and Chester FC.

During that time, the Welshman also played for his national team at Under-19 level and Under-21 too.

Now at Altrincham, Mooney is the Robin’s top scorer this season and has predominantly played off the right-flank.

Mooney is likely to be a threat to the Bees if he plays this afternoon.
