Stuart Maynard came to Wealdstone in May 2019 as Assistant to former boss Dean Brennan, whom he had worked with since 2012 at Hemel Hempstead Town, Billericay Town and Kingstonian.
Â
Maynard also played for the Stones back in 1999/00 after his release from Watford and had a lengthy playing career in non-league for the likes of St Albans City, Enfield, Chesham United, Halesowen Town and Hemel Hempstead Town.
Â
He was announced as Wealdstone manager in March 2021 after a short spell in caretaker charge and has led his team to 18th position so far this campaign.
Â
ONE TO WATCH
Â
Josh Umerah
Â
The imposing forward started his career at Charlton Athletic in the Championship where he made three appearances.
Â
Three loan spells followed at Kilmarnock, Wycombe Wanderers and Boreham Wood before he finally departed The Valley in 2019 to sign for Ebbsfleet United.
Â
Umerah signed for Torquay United a year later where his goals helped them to the Vanarama National League play-off final before penning a deal at Wealdstone last summer.
Â
The 24-year old has enjoyed life at Grosvenor Vale so far this season and is the Club’s top goalscorer with nine league goals.
