Team News:

Dan Senda takes charge of the Under 23’s after making the step up from the Under 18’s following Michael Nelson becoming Assistant Coach to the First Team.

This fixture is likely to see a mixture of our Under 23’s with some first team players. In our previous Middlesex Senior Cup tie, 8 of the starting XI had made appearances for the first team.

Challenge Cup Rewind:

Barnet were 4-2 winners in the Quarter Finals over Enfield FC at The Hive London. Ruben Bover scored twice and Nana Kyei converted a spot kick. In the second half, Enfield reduced the margin to just one, setting up a nervy finale but Malakai Mars finished the job in stoppage time.

Prior to that was a 3-1 win over Ashford Town (Middx) in the Second Round back in October.

The match was won in the first half after goals from Justin Amaluzor, Nana Kyei and Fumnaya Shomotun gave the Bees a comfortable lead at the break. Ashford replied with a 90th minute penalty.
