One To Watch: Dayle Grubb

Dayle Grubb, the 31-year-old midfielder currently sits top of The Seagulls scoring charts as he leads his team to second in their respective division as well as reaching the FA cup fourth qualifying round. The versatility of Grubb will cause issues for the Bees as they look to reach the next round of the FA cup.

Grubb came through the Weston-super-mare academy whilst working as a sports teacher during a nine-year stay with the club, he would go on to leave the club for 2 years before making a return in 2020.

The ex-League two player will be wanting to help his side beat Barnet on their first-ever visit to the Hive, with the Bees shipping 7 to Wrexham in their last game, Grubb will be hoping that he can also chip in with a goal.

IN THE DUGOUT: Scott Bartlett

Scott Bartlett is currently in his second stint as Seagulls boss where he was in charge for seven months in 2016. Bartlett has currently coached his team to go undefeated in the 2022/23 league campaign so far, a rather impressive achievement.

He has been in the game for over 25 years, starting his football career in the Bournemouth academy before moving to Cirencester Town, a team he played at for 5 years. Bartlett later signed for Salisbury in early 2000, it was there that he earned the Southern Premier title.

After hanging up his boots in 2011, Bartlett became Forest Green’s head of academy, the team he would start his managerial career at. Notably, the Seagulls boss took Grimsby Town to Wembley in the Conference Play-Off final in 2016.
