NEWS FROM THE TREATMENT ROOM

Hot from yesterday evening’s match against Aldershot, Barnetfc.com caught up with Stuart Ayles, our Head of Sports Science, for an update from the treatment room starting with Barry Fullers facial injury.
“Barry suffered facial wounds which were dealt with at the ground. His injuries will keep him away from training for a few days, his progress will be monitored daily and he expects to see a full recovery soon."
John Nurse had to be substituted after a heavy challenge which caused severe back spasms, whilst Jamal Lowe came off with a kick to the knee. On a positive note Stuart expects both players to be back in action soon.
Of the currently recovering players, Liam O’Brien had an operation on Monday to repair what is commonly known as a Sportsman’s Hernia which will see him in rehab for the next two weeks. All being well Liam could be back in training in three weeks.
Steve Kabba saw his specialist on Monday evening and has had an injection which will hopefully cover the last hurdle in his return to full fitness, and finally both Andy Yiadom and Mark Byrne are doing very well in rehab and we expect to see them back in training within 7 to 10 days.
