Nurse, 32, got Boro’s second of the match before creating a third to send the home side into a 3-1 lead. 

The away side pulled one back with 11 minutes remaining but Farnborough and Nurse, who was named man of the match, held on to collect three points.

Farnborough’s next match is at home to Tonbridge Angels on Tuesday evening.
