Edgar Davids’ Barnet side suffered defeat at Underhill for only the second time during his reign at the club, losing 2-0 to playoff hopefuls Chesterfield.
The Bees looked in control for most of the match, enjoying plenty of possession without ever really troubling the visiting goalkeeper.
A great strike from Chesterfield’s Jay O’Shea broke the deadlock early in the second half and the Bees never recovered.
