The Bees travel to the MBi Shay Stadium tomorrow night hoping to clinch their second win on the bounce when they face Halifax Town.

Last Meeting:

The last time these two sides met was back in 2015, Barnet winning 3-0 on that occasion. Goals from Mauro Vilhete, John Akinde and Curtis Weston sealed the three points at The Hive London.

Manager: Jamie Fullarton

Jamie Fullarton has been in charge of the Shaymen for just over a year now.

The 44-year-old began his managerial career at Notts County in 2016 but left the club after just 12 games in charge.

As a player, Fullarton started out at St Mirren before going on to play for the likes of Crystal Palace, Dundee United, Brentford and Southend before hanging up his boots in 2005 whilst at Woodlands Wellington. He also represented Scotland at Under-21 level and captained the side at the 1996 U21 European Championship.

After retirement, Fullarton was part of the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest, Bolton, Blackburn and was first team coach at Crystal Palace.

One to Watch: Matty Kosylo

Midfielder Matty Kosylo will be hoping to pose a threat tomorrow night, creating goals or scoring one for himself.

He hasn’t found the net since November and will be eager to end that drought when his side host the Bees, adding to his goal tally of four for the season.

Recent League Form:

Halifax, who sit 15th, have won twice in their last five league games.

The Shaymen suffered a 1-0 defeat away at Chesterfield at the start of February before drawing 0-0 with Aldershot in their next fixture. They returned to winning ways three days later when beating Maidstone 1-0 but had to settle for another goalless draw when hosting Havant & Waterlooville in their next game. However, they do go into tomorrow’s game off the back of a 1-0 win away at Eastleigh at the weekend.

As for their home form, Halifax have won five of their 16 home games this season and haven’t tasted victory at the MBi Shay Stadium since November. They are also the second joint-lowest scorers in the league having bagged 28 goals. They have also conceded 32 and suffering defeat tomorrow will mean they will be level on points with the Bees.

Connections:

Defender Ryan Sellers spent a couple of years in the Barnet academy as a youngster but never played in the senior side, leaving in 2014 for Bolton.

Ben Tomlinson joined the Bees from Lincoln City in 2015 and went on to make 12 appearances for the club before leaving in 2017 after a succession of loan spells away from The Hive London.

Manny Duku joined Barnet on loan in October 2018 from Cheltenham Town but returned to his parent club in the New Year ahead of another loan move to Halifax a month later.
