Team News:

Michael Nelson is back in first team training. Curtis Weston (knee) and John Akinde (knee) will also not be included in the squad, Richard Brindley (foot) and Elliott Johnson (knee) are out.

Last Time We Met:

Swindon were 2-0 winners at Underhill in April 2012 on their way to clinching the League 2 title under manager Paolo Di Canio.

The Robins made a good start, taking the lead in the 14th minute when Ronan Murray raced through on Dean Brill’s goal and poked home.

A Jay McEveley free kick found OIiver Risser who fired home in the 32nd minute to secure the three points.

Barnet line-up: Brill, Downing, Hector, Saville, Yiadom, Byrne, Deering, Hughes, Mustoe, May, McLeod. Subs: O’Brien, Parkes, N’Diaye, Holmes, McGleish.

Current manager David Flitcroft arrived at The County Ground in June 2017, replacing Luke Williams after the clubs relegation.

His coaching career began at Rochdale, before being named caretaker and subsequently permanent manager at Barnsley. He became manager of Bury in 2013 and helped guide them into League 1 in the 2014/15 season.

Summer signing Paul Mullin has already scored three goals in six games across all competitions so far this season.

Previously with Morecambe, the 22-year-old striker joined the Wiltshire club to add some much needed goals to their attack, having scored 10 the previous year.

Bees midfielder Curtis Weston made 29 appearances for Swindon in the 2006/07 season. His only goal for the side came against local rivals Bristol Rovers in a 2-1 victory. At the end of the season, Curtis was sold to Leeds United.

Last Time Out:

Swindon picked up their first league defeat of the season, beaten 3-0 by Crawley Town.

Despite dominating in the opening quarter, Swindon couldn’t make the early pressure count.

Oliver Lancashire headed Lewis Young’s cross into his own net in the 36th minute, before late goals from Jordan Roberts and captain Jimmy Smith sealed the points for the visitors.

Swindon: Vigouroux, Purkiss, Conroy, Lancashire, Hussey, McDermott, Linganzi (Taylor 53’), Dunne (Smith 78’), Mullin, Norris, Woolery (Brophy 53’).
