Ground Description
The ground opened in November 2006 is quite extraordinary as the well read amongst you will know it is has been described as one of the most ecologically ever built. Solar panels, water re-cycling, vegetation covered roof blankets, low energy lighting etc. From a spectator point of view it has a capacity of 4,000 with a small main stand. The remaining three sides are covered terracing. We will be allocated the Car Park End. A rather bland name bearing in mind the amount of effort put into creating the stadium!
Admission Prices:
Adults £15.00 – Concessions £8.00 Under 12’s £3.00
Previous Meetings and Memories:
We have met may times in the Southern League days but my one outstanding memory is FA Trophy 4th round 1972, waterlogged pitch, Paddy Powell, Barry King and Les Eason at their very best in a 2-0 win. We went to Wembley that season!
Celebrity watch:
Dartford is renown for the ultimate rock superstars as Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were born here. Names from my TV youth include, Brian Cant of Trumpton and Camberwick Green fame and Peter Glaze from Crackerjack who both lived locally.
