Stadium: Princes Park, Grassbanks, Darenth Rd, Dartford, Kent, DA1 1RT

Telephone: 01322 299990

Club Colours: White & Black

Nickname: The Darts

Official Website: www.dartfordfc.co.uk

Brief Directions by Road:
The M25 and the Dartford Crossing leave the motorway at Junction 1b and take the left-hand slip road signposted A225 Dartford. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road above the motorway turn right keeping on the A225 towards Dartford. Go straight across the next roundabout and at the next set of traffic lights turn left into Darenth Road. Take the second left into Grassbanks for the stadium.

Car Parking:
There is a car park at the ground which fills up early but street parking is plentiful.

Directions by Train:
Served by Charing Cross, Dartford station is a mile away from the stadium and a straight forward 20-minute walk without detours! The fast-track B bus runs every 10 minutes from outside the station to Bluewater Shopping centre but passes the ground and will cost £1 one way. A made-for-sharing taxi is about £5.

Supporters’ Coach:
The supporters’ coach will leave the Hive at 09:30 with earlier pick-up points at Potters Bar Station, Barnet (three separate places), Whetstone and Edgware starting at 08:30. The price is £20 return. For further information on the Bees Travel Club, please call the ticket office on 020 8381 3800 and select option 2 or visit The Hive in person.

Eating and Drinking Locally:
There is a choice of two bars at the ground that both allow visiting fans. The nearest pub to the ground is the Ivy Leaf found on Darenth Road – but be aware that this establishment doesn’t open very early. It is a five-minute walk away. Another option is the Malt Shovel which is further along Darenth Road on the left. Both serve bar food and real ales for you enthusiasts.

Meanwhile, Dartford Football Club would like to offer Barnet fans the opportunity to enjoy some first-class hospitality with their Dine with the Darts package. You will be served a hot main meal with tea or coffee and receive a complimentary matchday programme and team sheet all for just £25 per head + VAT. Booking in advance is essential. To reserve your place, please contact Tina Dyson, Commercial Manager on 01322 299994, commercial@dartfordfc.co.uk.

Ground Description:
The ground – which opened in November 2006 – is quite extraordinary as the well-read amongst you will know, being described as one of the most ecological ever built. Solar panels, water re-cycling, vegetation covered roof blankets, low energy lighting – the lot! From a spectator point of view it has a capacity of 4,000 with a small main stand. The remaining three sides are covered terracing. We will be allocated the Car Park End. A rather bland name bearing in mind the amount of effort put into creating the stadium!

Admission Prices:
Adults £16, Concessions £8.

Previous Meeting:
Last season’s meet at Dartford was a good night out as we returned with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Luisma Villa and Keanu Marsh-Brown.

Celebrity Watch:
Dartford is renowned for the ultimate rock superstars as Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were born here.  Names from my TV youth include Brian Cant of Trumpton and Camberwick Green fame and Peter Glaze from Crackerjack who both lived locally.
