Rossi Eames: “It’s an exciting line-up and it should be good”

A Barnet side will face Gillingham at The Hive London on Tuesday afternoon (kick-off 1pm) and Rossi Eames says the game will be important for all involved.
Martin Allen’s first team are without a fixture this weekend and are not in action again until December 10 when they travel to Yeovil Town in EFL League Two.
A strong side, including first-team players, Under-21s and Under-18s, is expected and supporters are invited to come to The Hive to watch the match.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday’s encounter, Eames outlined the importance of the game. He said: “It’s very good, especially going into the Christmas period because we want players sharp and if they need to come into the team we want them to be ready.
“We had Enfield Town last Monday night which was excellent for them and a number of them have played in the Checkatrade Trophy. They game have not been frequent but when they’ve had it over the last couple of weeks they’ve been there.
“We’ve also got a run of games coming up in the next few weeks in the League Reserve Cup against Colchester United, Southend United and Peterborough United.
“It’s a chance for them to gain minutes and we’re looking for them to progress in all four corners of the game.
“There will be first-team players involved and the youngsters we know about. We trained well today, we have got a way we’re going to play tomorrow and we will prepare. They’re looking sharp and excited for the game.”
