The player passed his medical at The Hive tonight and the relevant paperwork was submitted to the EFL on the stroke of the 11pm deadline and the club is waiting for the transfer to be confirmed.

The 28-year-old front man has scored 7 goals in six games so far in the National League. In Maidenhead’s promotion season last campaign, he scored 46 goals across all competitions.

Speaking about joining the Bees, Tarpey has said “We left it a bit late but I’m delighted to be here! I’ve come here to score goals. Hopefully I can bring the same strike record to Barnet and help them push up the league.”
